The Copper Clad Aluminium Line is applyingclad-welding technique, the wire is made by fusing a core aluminum with an external copper cladding.The two different kinds of metals are metallurgically bonded at their interfaceand the copper clading thickness remains constant, so they become a single andindissociable wire .Different model of VTH-10,VTH-12 and VTH-14 in different rate of copper with 14%,12% and 10%,the matched the Al rod dia is 8.6mm,10.6mm and 12.6mm.After processing by wire drawing machine,the wire min dia. can be 0.12mm.Because of skin effect, the AC conductivityof CCA wire equals to solid copper when frequency greater than 5Mhz.
Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA)wire combines the optimum properties of both metals in consingle composite material ideally suited for most electrica conductor applications. The processing method of CCA wire is similar to that of copper wire during cable manufacture .

The density of CCA is about 37% to 40% of that of copper; its length is 2.45 2.65 times of copper in same weight and diameter. All of these contribute to reduce production cost for cable manufacturers.
